What the complaint alleges
ABC IP LLC, Rare Breed Triggers, Inc., and RBTM LLC sued Midnight Machine LLC, Tallon Orion DeRossett, and Jacob Atwood in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, alleging infringement of four patents relating to forced-reset trigger mechanisms for firearms. The plaintiffs also claim the defendants infringed their FRT trademarks by marketing competing trigger products under the same mark. The complaint alleges that the defendants’ Kabuto device directly copies the patented technology and that their use of the FRT mark is likely to confuse consumers.
