What the complaint alleges
United Services Automobile Association (USAA) sued Fifth Third Bancorp, Fifth Third Financial Corporation, and Fifth Third Bank, National Association in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleging that Fifth Third's mobile check deposit system infringes four of USAA's patents related to remote check deposit technology. USAA claims that Fifth Third uses its patented auto-capture and image processing methods without authorization.
