What the complaint alleges
WellSpan Health and its related entities sued MultiPlan Corp. (now Claritev Corporation), Aetna, UnitedHealth Group, and numerous other health insurers and administrators in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The complaint alleges that the defendants conspired to artificially suppress out-of-network healthcare reimbursement rates paid to providers, thereby underpaying WellSpan for services.
