What the complaint alleges
Charles C. Harden, doing business as Clovergrass Produce, filed a class action complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas against Nutrien Ltd., Mosaic Co., CF Industries Holdings, Koch Industries, Yara International, and other fertilizer companies and associations. The complaint alleges that the defendants conspired to fix and raise prices of NPK fertilizer in the United States from January 1, 2020, to the present by coordinating price increases and production reductions, resulting in supracompetitive prices. The plaintiff seeks damages for direct purchasers who paid artificially inflated prices due to the alleged anticompetitive conduct.
