What the complaint alleges
ABC IP, LLC and Rare Breed Triggers, Inc. sued Area 51 Products LLC (d/b/a 3DP2A) and Daniel Nicholson in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, alleging that the defendants make and sell the Super Safety and Kabuto devices that infringe five patents related to firearm trigger mechanisms. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the defendants' products embody patented technology for 'forced reset' trigger mechanisms that accelerate firing sequences in semiautomatic firearms without a standard disconnector. The plaintiffs also allege that the defendants willfully induced and contributed to infringement of the asserted patents.
