What the complaint alleges

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. sued Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited and Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleging that Alembic's filing of an Abbreviated New Drug Application to market a generic version of Vanda's FANAPT® (iloperidone) oral tablets infringes U.S. Patent No. 8,586,610. The complaint alleges that Alembic's proposed product and label will induce and contribute to infringement of the patent, which covers methods of administering iloperidone based on CYP2D6 metabolizer status.
