What the complaint alleges

La'Vario Wiley sued the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, alleging that the NCAA's eligibility restrictions unlawfully bar him from competing in the 2026 Division I football season. Wiley contends that the NCAA's five-year eligibility rule, which counted non-competition seasons against him, constitutes an anticompetitive agreement in restraint of trade under Section 1 of the Sherman Act.
