What the complaint alleges
Hamilcar Barca IP LLC sued Lenovo Group Ltd. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division, alleging infringement of two patents originally developed by MediaTek. The complaint alleges that Lenovo's products, including Lenovo ThinkPad drives and computers implementing SATA III and ARMv8-A architectures, infringe the patents. Hamilcar acquired the patents in 2021 and notified Lenovo of the alleged infringement in 2023.
